This build-out, inside a medical office building, required a rapid turnaround during a challenging time. Project management had to push through issues caused by the corona pandemic. A preemptive decision was made to help contain possible outbreaks; workers were required to follow the protocol extended from the hospital to office buildings for things like temperature readings, social distancing, the disinfection of shared tools and the wearing of face masks. In addition, lead times for everything from simple building materials to AC systems, were extended as a result of both reduced manufacturing output and the prioritization of materials to hot outbreak areas. Those challenges were all met head on and overcome by project managers and superintendents and the initial, pre-pandemic schedule was kept. The modern and comfortable offices and exam rooms will be used by private doctors within the Memorial Hermann Network. The timeshare featured is one of three phases which included a conference room, training room, storage and multiple office suites.
